About RUN/CY
RUN/CY is a free, independent map and calendar of races and social groups in Cyprus: 67 races with distances and GPX routes, and 19 run, hike and climbing groups with their weekly meeting points, all on one map, in English and Greek.
It lives at run-cy.com. It is built and maintained by one person, it has no sign-up, and it does not take race entries: every race links to the organiser’s own registration page.
RUN/CY and the similar-sounding sites
Is RUN/CY the same as run.com.cy?
No. run.com.cy is a separate site run by the organisers of events such as the Lefkara Country Run & Vertical Challenge. RUN/CY (run-cy.com) is an independent directory. We link to run.com.cy from the Lefkara race page, as we do for any organiser.
Is RUN/CY the same as Running in Cyprus?
No. Running in Cyprus (runningincyprus.com) is a separate events calendar, and a source we credit for event listings. RUN/CY adds a map, GPX routes with elevation profiles, and a directory of weekly social run, hike and climbing groups.
What does RUN/CY do that a calendar does not?
It puts races and groups on one map, shows each course’s GPX route and elevation where we have the file, lets you download the file, and adds races or groups to your phone calendar.
